Ⅳ.Sewing equipment for 400 and 600 types of seams
In addition to the 401 stitch, the reverse side of the 400 and 600 types of stitches are mesh structures, the difference lies in whether the surface with decorative threads or not. 400 types of stitches do not have decorative threads on the surface of the 600 types of stitches with decorative threads on the surface the following diagram shows the front and back of several types of stitches.

1) 401 Stitch--Chainstitch machine
Used for flexible stitch sewing, the number of straight needles is divided into single-needle machines and multi-needle machines. Multi-needle chainstitch machines are not only highly efficient but can also obtain special effects with sewing accessories. They are mainly used for pulling elastic bands, pulling strips, upper pants waist, placket, and burying clips. The chainstitch sewing of the buried clip machine is mainly used for sewing the trouser legs and side seams of clothes and upper sleeve seams of the leisure category. Chain stitch is easy to pull off at the end and jumping stitches must be added with fixing sewing.
(2) 400+ Stitch Chainstitch and 600+ Covered Stitch--Interlock Sewing Machines
The stitch formed by the interlock sewing machine is in the shape of a flat net, with good strength and tensile properties. It is mostly used for sewing knitwear that requires stitch elasticity or prevents disintegration, such as butt joints of knitted garments, rolled collars of women's and children's garments, hems, and decorations. According to the number of straight needles, there are double-needle, triple-needle, and four-needle interlock sewing machines, an enterprise commonly known as hemmed (can) car. According to the shape of the machine head, there are cylinders and flat interlock sewing machines.

(1) Zigzag sewing machine
Also known as a zigzag sewing machine or zigzag car, used for zigzag sewing with a certain degree of elasticity of the stitch, such as bras, underwear, and so on. Commonly used two-point machine (304 thread) and three-point machine (308 thread), an electronic zigzag sewing machine can be set on a sewing machine straight line, 2-point, 3-point, 4-point, crescent-shaped, needle-like zigzag sewing, greatly improving the utilization rate of the equipment. This kind of stitch is practical and decorative at the same time, but the solidity of the stitch structure is a little bit poor.

(2) Computerized embroidery machine
The computerized embroidery machine has two kinds of needle bar swing and fabric movement, mainly used for flat flower embroidery, but also does some specific craft embroidery, such as paste embroidery, filling three-dimensional embroidery, etc. The principle is to design a good pattern on the computer, stitch type, needle density, sequence, color, etc., and the pattern through the floppy disk or CD-ROM into the embroidery machine computer, by the embroidery machine computer-controlled embroidery action. At present, the application is very wide.

(3) Bar tacking machine

A bar tacking machine is a row of multi-needle lockstitch sewing equipment, through the rows of needles and fabric of the coordinated movement of the work, sewing with a regular shape of the flower. Usually, several layers of different textiles are sewn together, such as quilt surfaces, lining of cotton clothes, cushions, and so on. Bar tacking is used in a wide variety of patterns for high-quality mattress fabrics, bedding, home decorations, and so on.

The main working system of the sewing equipment is the loop forming and cloth feeding system, the selection of sewing equipment should be considered comprehensively, in addition to the stitch factor, the classification and technical indicators of the sewing equipment can also be distinguished from the sewing method, the number of needles, the number of threads, the form and type of rotary hook, the thickness of the sewn products, the way of feeding the cloth, whether or not there is an additional functional device and the ability to speed, and so on.
