●World's first Vertically - and horizontally-driven digital feed mechanism

Easier adjustment of the feed dog height to accommodate the characteristics of the sewing fabric, further enhancing the sewing quality that matches the fabric characteristics of the sewing product. When the short thread trimmer is ON, the feed dog sinks, eliminating the gap between the throat plate and the fabric, ensuring a stable short thread length. When the needle bar is in the upper stop position, the feed dog height is lower than the throat plate, making it easier for the fabric to enter and exit without causing damage.

High-performance LED lamp, theoretical service life is around 60,000 hours, saves 90% energy, special design-shadeless, 5-level brightness adjustable function.

Active presser foot pressure mechanism

The thread tension device employs an electronic thread clamping mechanism. The thread tension can be adjusted through the control panel.

Thread trimming using a double-edge driving rotary knife system, eliminating the gap between the throat plate and the fabric, ensuring thread ends are controlled within 3mm at the end of sewing.

The thickness of the high-low section can be detected, and thread tension, presser foot pressure, stitch length, feed dog height, and other settings can be automatically adjusted to the most appropriate values. *Switching points can be adjusted arbitrarily through buttons.

The National Sewing Machine Quality Inspection and Testing Center conducts comprehensive performance testing on DDL-9000C single needle sewing machines based on the latest industry-standard QB/T5549-2021 Industrial Sewing Machines Computer-controlled Multi-axis Linked High-speed Lockstitch Sewing Machines. 

1. Appearance and basic performance testing

The body of the machine has a smooth overall design with sleek outlines, combining a matte white and blue finish that gives it a high-quality feel. It also features an LED light located near the needle bar that shines downward with 5 adjustable settings, making it easy to operate in different environments.

Near the thread clipper, there are two black manual buttons that provide quick control over the high and low sections' sewing switching function. Compared to the 8000A model, the 9000C has made significant changes to its control panel, giving a more minimalist and elegant appearance.

2. Sound-Pressure-Level

The highest speed of 90% was selected, which is 4500 RPM, for testing under an environment noise level below 20 decibels. As shown in the figure below, the actual speed of the DDL9000C single-needle sewing machine was 4501 RPM, with an error of only 0.02%. Therefore, the obtained noise data is relatively accurate.

3. Two-Dimensional Measurement of Presser Foot Height

Before starting sewing, they measured the presser foot height by choosing between manual and knee lift presser foot height.

they conducted relevant tests on the DDL-9000C, and the results showed that its manual height was 5 millimeters, while the knee lift presser foot height reached 13 millimeters. it can meet the sewing needs of various fabrics and maintain a stable sewing speed.

4. Maximum and Minimum Sewing Speeds

They also conducted tests on the maximum and minimum sewing speeds of the single-needle sewing machine. As shown in the figure below, its maximum sewing speed can reach 5,000sti/min, and the minimum sewing speed is 150 sti/min, which fully meets the standard requirements.

5. Maximum Stitch Length

The maximum stitch length of the DDL-9000C is 5 millimeters, which is 1.2 millimeters higher than the 3.8-millimeter standard.

Then, we began sewing the test sample and selected 10 stitch lengths after the sewing was completed. The value was 51.25 millimeters, and by substituting this value into the formula, the average value of the maximum stitch length was calculated to be 5.1 millimeters, which is 0.1 millimeters higher than the originally set maximum stitch length of 5 millimeters for the machine.

6. In terms of fabric layer displacement, we used medium-thick fabric and conducted 5 sewing tests on the DDL-9000C. By substituting the values into the formula, it was determined that the fabric layer displacement rate was almost 0%, which is much lower than the industry standard of 0.7%. The industry standard for relative error value in high and low-speed seam stitch length is 5%, while the test mean value of the DDL-9000C is 0.16%.
